Milano Cortina 2026: Morocco at the Winter Olympic Games
The Moroccan National Olympic Committee is pleased to announce the participation of the Moroccan sports delegation in the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, which will take place from 6 to 22 February 2026 in Italy.
Based on the quota granted by the International Ski Federation and the list approved by the Royal Moroccan Federation of Skiing and Mountain Sports, the Moroccan National Olympic Committee has registered the Moroccan delegation with the Milano Cortina 2026 Organising Committee.
Morocco will be represented by two athletes in alpine skiing and cross-country skiing. Pietro TRANCHINA will defend the national colours in the slalom and giant slalom events in alpine skiing, while Abderrahim KEMMISSA will compete in the 10 km freestyle event in cross-country skiing.
The competitions involving the Moroccan delegation will take place at the alpine venues of Bormio for alpine skiing and Predazzo for cross-country skiing, as part of an organisation spread across several cities and territories in northern Italy.
Through this participation, Morocco reaffirms its presence on the winter Olympic stage and its commitment to the development of winter sports, in line with the values and ideals of the Olympic Movement.
