CNOM: Seminar “Neurosciences and High-Performance Sport”

Seminaire

The Moroccan National Olympic Committee is organizing a seminar entitled “Neurosciences, the Fundamental Resource of High-Performance Sport” on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 in Rabat.

Intended for national sports federations, this seminar is part of the CNOM’s approach to supporting federations in the evolution of their practices and the strengthening of their capacities, through the contribution of applied sciences to high-performance sport.

The seminar will be led by Professor Edward E. BARBEY, an international expert in applied neurosciences and human factors. He is the designer of the MACOPS© and PERMAHN© models, recognized references in the analysis of performance and complex environments. He also serves as an expert within the framework of the University Diploma in Medical Simulation Pedagogy (CIM6S – Casablanca).

This seminar provides a space for reflection and exchange on the role of neurosciences in high-performance sport, in connection with the challenges faced by national federations in supporting athletes, technical staff, and performance systems.

Through this initiative, the CNOM reaffirms its commitment to continuous training, the dissemination of scientific knowledge, and support for national sports federations, within a dynamic of development of high-performance sport in Morocco.
