Angola 2025: Closing Ceremony of the African Youth Games

Morocco’s participation in the 4th African Youth Games, held in Angola from 10 to 20 December 2025, concluded with a total of six medals: two gold, one silver and three bronze medals. These results highlight the potential and quality of Morocco’s young sporting generation competing in this continental event dedicated to athletes aged 14 to 17.

 

The two gold medals were won in judo and athletics, with Fatima Ezzahra NIDAOUI claiming gold in the -48 kg category and Maria SAADI securing first place in the long jump. Athletics also contributed to Morocco’s medal tally with a silver medal won by Khadija ELMOSTAQIM in the 800 meters, as well as three bronze medals achieved by Malak AL MAAROUFI in the 400 meters hurdles, Maria SAADI in the 100 meters, and Salma MAATAOUI in the 2000 meters steeplechase.

 

For the Angola 2025 edition, the Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM) fielded a delegation of young athletes selected in coordination with the Royal Moroccan Federations, competing in athletics, beach volleyball and judo.
