Mediterranean Games Taranto 2026: Heads of Delegation Seminar

The Moroccan National Olympic Committee, represented by Mr. Majd CHEKROUN, Director of International Relations and Communication and member of the CIJM Sports Commission, along with Ms. Manal LAZAAR, Project Officer, took part in the Mediterranean Games Taranto 2026 Heads of Delegation Seminar, held in Taranto (Italy) from 27 to 29 March 2026.

With five months to go before the opening, this strategic meeting facilitated coordination between the National Olympic Committees and the Organizing Committee. Working sessions covered all operational pillars, including logistics, competition venues, transport, and accreditation. Particular focus was placed on validating the technical manuals: essential tools for the optimal preparation of athletes.

This meeting marks a key milestone in the final countdown to Taranto 2026, further strengthening the collaboration between the Moroccan National Olympic Committee and its Mediterranean partners to ensure the success of this major event.
