Seminar: Neuromuscular Activation and Sports Performance

Seminaire

The Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM) organized, on Wednesday 28 January 2026 in Bouznika, a seminar dedicated to neuromuscular activation, bringing together sports professionals to discuss current challenges related to athletic performance and athlete preparation.

Held under the theme “Neuromuscular Activation: Unlocking the Potential of Body and Mind for Athletic Performance,” this event is part of CNOM’s strategy to support the national sports movement and strengthen the skills of stakeholders involved in athlete monitoring and preparation.

Led by Mr. Douglas HEEL, physiotherapist, expert in neuromuscular activation and human performance, and founder of BeActivated, the seminar offered an in-depth approach to the mechanisms of neuromuscular system activation, in connection with optimizing athletic performance and preventing injuries.

Primarily intended for medical and technical staff of sports federations, the event was marked by interactive discussions and practical demonstrations, allowing participants to concretely experience the principles addressed. These interactive moments encouraged the sharing of experiences and highlighted the practical applications of neuromuscular activation in daily work with athletes.
