Arab Cup 2025: Morocco Crowned Champion

Coupe Arabe 2025

Morocco was crowned champion of the Arab Cup 2025, held in Qatar, following a competition marked by a high level of play and strong participation from the national teams involved. This title, Morocco’s second in the history of the tournament after the 2012 edition, confirms the continuity of the national football team’s performances on the regional stage.

Throughout the tournament, the Moroccan national team demonstrated solid collective organization and a consistent ability to meet the demands of high-stakes matches. The results achieved in the knockout stages enabled Morocco to reach the final with authority, notably after a clear 3–0 victory over the United Arab Emirates in the semi-final.

The final against Jordan ended with a Moroccan victory by three goals to two after extra time. Morocco opened the scoring early in the match through Oussama Tannane. Jordan later equalized before Abderrazak Hamdallah restored parity at the end of regular time and then scored the decisive goal during extra time, sealing Morocco’s triumph in the Arab Cup 2025.

This title rewards a well-controlled campaign and highlights the depth of Moroccan football, as well as the national team’s ability to maintain a high level of competitiveness in regional competitions.

On this occasion, the Moroccan National Olympic Committee extends its congratulations to the players, the technical staff, and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation for this achievement, which forms part of the positive momentum of national sport.
