AFCON 2025: Morocco Storms into the Semi-Finals

Morocco continues its outstanding run at AFCON 2025 after securing a well-deserved place in the semi-finals with a controlled 2-0 victory over Cameroon on Friday night in Rabat.

Strong, disciplined and efficient, the Atlas Lions set the tempo from the opening half, taking the lead through Brahim Díaz in the 26th minute. In the second half, Morocco’s dominance was confirmed when Ismael Saibari added the second goal in the 74th minute, sealing qualification in front of an electric home crowd.

Morocco now approach the semi-final with confidence and ambition, awaiting their next opponent  the winner of the highly anticipated clash between Algeria and Nigeria with the clear objective of continuing their continental journey and moving closer to the title.
