CIJM: Executive Committee Meeting and Extraordinary General Assembly

The Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM), represented by its Secretary General, Mr. Abdellatif IDMAHAMMA, took part in the meetings of the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (ICMG), held in Portimão, Portugal, on 28 and 29 November 2025. These gatherings brought together senior members of the Mediterranean sports movement to review progress on key ongoing projects.

The Executive Committee session, held on 28 November, focused on the presentation of the ICMG’s recent activities and on the main preparatory milestones for upcoming editions of the Mediterranean Games, including Taranto 2026, Portimão–Lagoa 2027 and Pristina 2030. The Extraordinary General Assembly of 29 November addressed the progress of the Pristina 2030 Games and outlined the strategic directions for future Mediterranean events.

The CNOM’s participation in these meetings reaffirms Morocco’s commitment within the Mediterranean sports community and its role in strengthening regional cooperation and supporting the development of the Games.
