Islamic Solidarity Games Riyadh 2025: Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony of the Riyadh 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games was held on Friday, November 21, at the main stadium of the King Fahd Complex, marking the end of two weeks of competition bringing together nearly 3,500 athletes representing 57 countries.

The Moroccan delegation, composed of 76 athletes competing in 12 disciplines, concluded its participation with a total of 26 medals: 10 gold, 7 silver, and 9 bronze, placing Morocco 9th in the overall medal standings.

During the ceremony, each country marched behind its flag bearer. Morocco was represented by Najat EL GARAA (para-sport) and Oussama ASSAD (wrestling), who were designated as the flag bearers for this edition.

The Moroccan National Olympic Committee extends its congratulations to all federations and medal-winning athletes for their commitment and performances, and expresses its sincere thanks to the organizers for the quality and success of these Games.
