Equestrian Sports: Morocco claims second place at the Morocco Royal Tour

Our national show jumping team claimed second place in the CSIO4-W Nations Cup*, held on 11 October 2026 at the Royal Complex for Equestrian Sports and Tbourida Dar Es Salam in Rabat, as part of the second leg of the Morocco Royal Tour 2026.

Composed of AL AHRACH Ali, BOUKAA El Ghali, OUADDAR Abdelkebir and BENNANI SMIRES Abdeslam, our national team completed the first round with four penalty points before producing a faultless second round.

Tied on four points with France, Germany and Belgium, our riders advanced to a four-team jump-off to decide the top positions.

In the jump-off, OUADDAR Abdelkebir, riding Festival d’Argouges, delivered a clear round in 33.78 seconds, securing second place for our national team. France took the victory, while Germany completed the podium.

Contested over 1.50 m obstacles, the Nations Cup brought together nine national teams. Our riders competed with Douglas Mail for AL AHRACH Ali, Ike 1348 for BOUKAA El Ghali, Festival d’Argouges for OUADDAR Abdelkebir and Mister d’Eclipse for BENNANI SMIRES Abdeslam.

This result came as part of the 15th edition of the Morocco Royal Tour, held from 1 to 18 October 2026 across three stages in Tetouan, Rabat and El Jadida.

Following the Tetouan and Rabat stages, the circuit will continue in El Jadida from 15 to 18 October 2026 for the third and final leg of the Morocco Royal Tour 2026.
