Show Jumping: El Ghali BOUKAA retains his title at the Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI
Moroccan rider El Ghali BOUKAA won, for the second consecutive year, the Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the flagship event of the Royal Guard’s 4-star official show jumping competition, held in Rabat under the High Patronage of His Majesty the King.
Already victorious in 2025, El Ghali BOUKAA confirmed his consistency at the highest national level by winning this major competition once again. Riding A Kyss, he delivered a clear round in the main 1.50m class before securing victory in the jump-off with a time of 38.81 seconds.
The Grand Prix was decided in a three-rider jump-off, featuring several leading figures of Moroccan show jumping. Majid DJAIDI finished second with a double clear round, while Ali AL AHRACH placed third after incurring a fault in the jump-off.
Held at the Hassan II arena in Mechouar, Rabat, this 4-star competition is one of the key events on the national equestrian calendar, bringing together top riders affiliated with the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports.
An experienced rider, El Ghali BOUKAA has represented Morocco on the international stage, notably at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
