The Moroccan National Olympic Committee is taking part in the international #No_Excuse campaign led by UN Women as part of the “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence,” held from 25 November to 10 December. This participation reflects the Committee’s commitment to addressing all forms of digital violence, a growing phenomenon that limits the participation of women and girls in digital spaces and hinders their ability to benefit from the opportunities offered by technology.

The Moroccan National Olympic Committee emphasizes that the digital sphere, just like the sports sphere, must remain a safe and inclusive environment founded on respect, where everyone can express themselves and participate without fear of harassment, threats, or abuse. The Committee also underscores the importance of collective awareness and shared responsibility in curbing harmful online behaviors and in promoting a culture rooted in dignity, equality, and human rights.

Through its involvement in this global initiative, the Moroccan National Olympic Committee reaffirms that combating gender-based violence, including digital violence, is a fundamental pillar of its vision to build a safe, inclusive, and responsible national sports ecosystem.
