Tennis / U14: Morocco Secures Qualification for the World Championships

Our national U14 tennis teams took part in the African U14 Team Championships, held from May 4 to 9, 2026 in Cairo, Egypt, with the participation of several African national teams.

The Moroccan boys’ team won the African U14 team title after defeating Egypt 3-0 in the final. The young Moroccan players had previously secured their place in the final with a victory over Tunisia in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the Moroccan girls’ team finished as runners-up, taking second place overall behind Egypt in a competition played in a round-robin format. The Moroccan players notably recorded victories against Tunisia, Kenya, Botswana and Sudan.

Following these results, both the Moroccan boys’ and girls’ teams secured qualification for the U14 World Championships, scheduled for August 2026 in the Czech Republic.
